Inside, follow the path to HERE 



 it's time for a "puzzle." All you need to do is 
step on the switch and then walk down, or else you'll be trapped by the snowman. Then push 
the snowman onto the switch and proceed. Follow the path, you'll have to swing across some 
things.When you get here 



 Go North (KEYZZZ). From the next room, head to the right 
twice and follow the path upstairs. From upstairs, go up and right, and you should be here 




 Get on the ice; it should take you north. Make your way (via this elaborate network 
of ice slides) All the way to here 



 (it involves going around in a counter-clockwise 
motion)From there, go BACKWARDS on the ice until you get here 



 and mattock the 
north wall. Proceed inside and go up the stairs. You should be here...



 From there, 
you can mattock the north wall to find a healing pond, or you can (or SHOULD anyways) go 
east to get to the rest of the dungeon. Follow the straight obvious path (It'll take you up 
some stairs and outside for a moment) And when you finally get here 



. Solve the 
"puzzle" by sliding onto the ice, chaining one of the poles, hitting the switch, and then 
slinding to the other side of the ice where you can hit the next switch. Follow the straight 
path (You'll need to cut down some things with your axe) until you get here 



 and 
take the eastern path of ice. From there, follow the icy path until you get here. 



 
From here you can go up into a healing pond (KEYZZ) Or go west to advance. When you advance, 
you'll slide along on the ice, and you'll need to grab the top pole with your chain 



 Or else you'll just get sent back. From there, mattock the wall in between the poles, head 
upstairs and follow the path until you get HERE 



 and head north and up the stairs. 
Heal and save your game. Go to the right and fight Kary.

Kary shoots Ice towards the left side of the screen, and also move to the center to swing 
her tail at you as well. Her weak spot is her head, and the ice projectiles can be broken. 
The best tactic I found for beating Kary is to stay at a good distance under or over her and 
swing at her with the chain. As she starts to get close to you, walk around her; you'll be 
able to figure out when she's going to move forward and strike. Have CURE ready. And 
finally...don't get greedy and try and hit her from the front, it's not even worth it.
 
After defeating Kary, you'll receive the Ice Sword and be teleported out of the cave. 
Head back to Lorim.

At Lorim, talk to Cibba (In the eastern room, make sure to have an inventory space open) 
He'll give you a key called the Bone Key and explain how to get to the dungeon where the 
Excalibur is, like as if you know geographically what all the coasts and landmarks in the 
Final Fantasy Adventure world are. Here, lemme tell you how to get there. Head to the 
island where you got the Ice Equipment, and when you get to this part of the island 



 Equip the Flame Chain and swing across the pole. Head South on the path. See those rocks 
that look like Floating candy? Break those with the Morning Star. You'll have to do a 
little bit of that to get to the cave. When you get here 



 you can go west to 
find an item shop, or you can go south to advance. When you get here 



 Go left and 
up and continue following the path again. You'll eventually see a 
weapons shop with the Thunder Spear. GET IT. It's really important for beating the boss 
you'll face next, so if you don't have the money for it now, sit around and make enough 
money. From there, continue south until you get to an area with a very narrow up passage... 
and go up. You should be at an items shop. Go ahead and check in there for something you might 
like. From the shop, go left, and you should be at the cave. Equip the Bone Key and Enter.
