This character:
Brian is one of the two leaders, which means that the game is over if he dies. As a good leader, his statistics are very good and he's one of the best characters in the game. His attack will end up high and with the Executor equipped he gets the highest attack (higher than 100 sometimes!). He's not as fast as Ain and doesn't evade that often, but his HP is very high and his defense is not that bad, so he'll endure various hits. His special technique, Sword Impulse, inflicts lots of damage and the MP cost is not that high. So, leader or not, Brian is a great unit to have (but you can't quit him out of the party anyway :P)
